Charlotte McKinney Responds To ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ Kate Upton Comparisons In New Interview

Charlotte McKinney is being called "the next Kate Upton," and she's finally responded to the comparison to the "Sexiest Woman Alive" model in a new interview with Esquire magazine. See what she said here!

Charlotte McKinney took over Super Bowl 2015 yesterday when her Carl's Jr. commercial aired and football fans around the country got a look at the model's gorgeous figure. While few can deny that she looks uncannily similar to Kate Upton, with her blonde hair, sweet face, and bodacious curves, Charlotte says she wants to be known for more than just a "Sexiest Woman Alive" look-alike.

"It's pretty obvious. We both have blonde hair, we're from Florida, and we have enormous tits," Charlotte told Esquire. "It's super-flattering to me. Her career is amazing. But I'm ready to get that tossed away and start making a name for myself. Hopefully we both have a totally different realm of what we're doing. But it is flattering."

After that Carl's Jr. commercial, it's unlikely folks won't remember McKinney's name.

In case you missed the ad, watch it below:

"This is par for the course for Carl's Jr.," said Richard Laermer, Chief Executive of RLM PR in New York. The brand has used Paris Hilton and Kate Upton in its commercials in similar scenarios, TODAY reports.

Some said the ad took it too far: "It's like porn meets American Pastime," branding consultant Erika Napoletano said, USA Today reports. "It makes NFL cheerleaders - underpaid and underclothed - look like nuns in comparison."

"She doesn't look like any women I know," Napoletano added about McKinney. "This is all about the cheap, visual joke."

But Brad Haley, chief marketing officer at CKE Restaurants, parent to sibling burger chains Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, defended the commercial: "We don't show things in our ads that you won't see at the beach on any given warm, weekend," he said. "We don't cross the line - but we like to get right to the line."

"We know, from our history, this is the kind of ad they want to see over and over again," Haley added.
