'Sons Of Anarchy' Alum Charlie Hunnam Nabs Another Title Role, Replaces Benedict Cumberbatch In 'The Lost City Of Z' [PHOTO]

"Sons of Anarchy" alum Charlie Hunnam is keeping busy nabbing some big title roles! According to the New York Daily News, Hunnam is replacing Benedict Cumberbatch as British explorer Percy Fawcett in the upcoming movie "The Lost City of Z."

TIME reports that Cumberbatch dropped out of the role in order to better dedicate the proper amount of time to his own Marvel franchise as Doctor Strange. Brad Pitt was also cast for the role, but decided to stick with just being one of the movie's producers instead.

But no worries - Hunnam has got it covered. The movie is based on David Grann's best-selling book "The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon," and E Online reports that the plot revolves around Hunnam's character Fawcett, who is a British colonial who disappeared in the 1920s while searching for a mythical city in the Amazon jungles of Brazil.

Besides Hunnam, there are some pretty big stars in the cast. Sienna Miller will be playing Fawcett's wife, and Robert Pattinson will be playing their son (even though Pattinson and Hunnam are only six years apart in real life). The film is set to begin production this upcoming summer.

Hunnam will need that extra bit of time, as he is currently in production for his lead role in the Guy Ritchie-directed film, "Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur." According to People Magazine, he will also be seen on the big screen soon in the "Pacific Rim" sequel dubbed "Crimson Peak," directed by Guillermo del Toro.

It sounds like we'll soon be seeing Hunnam all over the place, which certainly isn't bad news.  Empire Online reports that "Crimson Peak" will make its debut October 16 - will you be watching?
