Big Sean Dishes On Girlfriend Ariana Grande And Breakup With 'Glee' Star Naya Rivera, Says Drama Makes The Best Song Content [PHOTO]

In a recent interview with Billboard magazine, rapper Big Sean discussed his feelings for his girlfriend Ariana Grande as well as the impact "Glee" star and ex-girlfriend Naya Rivera has had on his music.

Rivera is known to have married actor Ryan Dorsey three months after her breakup with Big Sean, and rumor has it the Detroit native's newest smash hit "I Don't F--- With You" is about her. And by smash hit, we really mean it - Billboard reports that "I Don't F--- With You" ruled Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for eight weeks, and is Big Sean's biggest hit on the chart.

When asked about how the lyrics for the song came about, Big Sean didn't deny that they were directly influenced by his feelings. He stated, "I had that song a year ago, when I was in that relationship, but obviously everyone thinks it's about her. I write about what I go through - not fake shit. That's my responsibility."

The 26-year-old continued, "I want to write about what really happens, but I'm not a spiteful person. I've answered so many questions about it; people are going to think what they want no matter what I say."

But that doesn't mean the drama in the song isn't purposeful - Big Sean also added that "drama makes the best content." He acknowledged, "People want that - I get it." However, that doesn't mean his songs will never be on the cheerful side. He may even be influenced by his feelings for pop star Ariana Grande, who he says is "Supercool-the coolest."

E Online reports that the couple met when the 21-year-old singer rapped Big Sean's own lyrics to him at the 2012 Wango Tango concert. Big Sean added, "Ever since, we've been friendly, hung out once in a while, and it just evolved. I respect her-so I don't think I should talk about it."

How sweet! Have you listened to Big Sean's latest hit yet?
