"Scandal" season 4, episode 12 spoilers reveal that Olivia will try to use all her skills and wit to escape her captor.

As fans know, Olivia tried to outwit Ian by convincing him that she should be sold for auction. She hoped that this move could help Fitz and Jake find out where she is.

"Who in the world is going to be responsible for buying Olivia Pope?" Cartermatt wondered. " Kerry Washington's character convinced Ian that it was in his best interest to sell her to the highest bidder, and for one simple reason: She is one of the few people the President listens to. Whoever wins her will have a whole lot of power."

Inquisitr noted that Olivia is not wanting for friends who want to help her, but knowing the identity of his captor doesn't make it easier to rescue her.

"While Olivia's mama, Maya, is shown in the preview, she can hardly be considered an old pal and she's popped up fairly regularly," it said. "Most would imagine that the title of the episode, 'Full Circle,' ties into this return, but specific details are still under wraps for now."

Spoilers for episode 12 of "Scandal" season 4 can be gleaned from the synopsis which reads: "Olivia remains one-step ahead of her captures, but she won't be able to keep it up for long. Jake, Huck and Quinn turn to an old friend for help and Fitz is pushed to the limit forcing Cyrus to take matters into his own hands."

Darby Stanchfield teased spoilers to Buddy TV as she said that Olivia's fate will be addressed in two or three episodes.

"Everybody deals with it in a different way," she said. "It's probably one of the biggest crises of this season and a lot is revealed about where these characters stand."
