Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo might appear adorable together but the 22-year-old crooner isn't too comfortable putting much emphasis on Valentine's Day. The former Disney star admits that he does not have plans yet because such day is new form him.

"I don't know. Until last year I'd never celebrated it," he told the British edition of Cosmopolitan magazine. He likewise divulged what they did during last year's Valentine's Day.

"People put a lot of emphasis on the day, which can be problematic, but last year Olivia and I and two of our friends went on holiday to the Dominican Republic, which happened to fall over Valentine's Day," said Nick Jonas. "That was awesome." 

However, fans shouldn't jump into conclusions because Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo's relationship is also romance-filled.

"I'm romantic too: our first Christmas together I bought Olivia 12 gifts that all had some significance to the year we'd had. She loved it," admitted Nick Jonas.

Rumors have recently surfaced that Nick Jonas might propose to his Miss Universe 2012 girlfriend this month over a romantic dinner. The singer has been reportedly ring shopping for months and his plan allegedly makes the Jonas family happy.

"The entire Jonas family is in on the big secret. Everyone adores Olivia and thinks they are perfect for each other. Nick's never been the player type. He values his religious beliefs and knows that he's ready to settle down," claimed one insider to Star magazine.

Many likewise thought that Nick Jonas would propose to Olivia Culpo at the recently concluded Miss Universe 2015 pageant. Even the brunette beauty thought that her boyfriend would pop the question because while singing for the pageant's evening gown portion, Jonas went off stage to serenade Culpo.

"I went down and sang to her, and I [got] on a knee and approached her," said Jonas to The Sun. "Her face was in full panic. She thought I was going to propose on national TV in front of one billion people."
