While the "Teen Mom 2" Leah Messer cheating scandal is now over, it appears that the MTV star is still being followed by drama. Recently, her salon business Gloss was accused of having illegal business practices.

"This business is very much illegal," claimed a spokesperson for the West Virginia State Board of Bar. The spokesperson added that it's questionable that Gloss doesn't have an actual shop.

"Teen Mom 2" Leah Messer and her friends reportedly charge $60 for makeup and $300 for a complete pageant preparation. The spokesperson also emphasized that the reality star's only a "cosmetology student with more than a year of school left to go."

It isn't known yet what the investigation will yield. Some are speculating that the worst case scenario will be lead oto Messer being banned from having a cosmetology business for the rest of her life. Nonetheless, Messer's friend, who happens to be one of the salon's stylists, was quick to defend the business.

As reported by "The Ashley's Reality Roundup," Messer's friend named Leslee denied the allegations against Gloss.

"There is zero truth to the investigation. Nobody [from the state board] has contacted me. We absolutely do have a license. Leah hasn't done hair or makeup for anything. It's all me or Crystal," she said.

As for the lack of an actual shop, Leslee clarified that the store's on
a break because she's still recovering from an operation.

"Crystal and I advertise but don't work until I'm healed enough to do so. But we will operate just as we have for years when we do [start working again]. Never had a problem before and can't see a problem now," said the stylist.

The latest drama comes just a few months after "Teen Mom 2" Leah Messer's cheating scandal. The young mom allegedly cheated on her husband, Jeremy Calvert. She later denied the accusations.

However, until now, it isn't clear whether the two have indeed patched things up.
