Sean Penn and Charlize Theron Engaged: Charlize Theron And Sean Penn Hit The Park With Kids As Penn Co-Star Opens Up About Romantic Nights

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron engaged? Not officially, but Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were photographed with Theron's son Jackson this weekend in a Studio City, California park. Penn is in the process of adopting Theron's son Jackson, 3. The normally-camera shy celebrity couple looked happy in spite of all the cameras.

Sean Penn recently told Esquire that he'd be open to marrying a third time, but the National Enquirer countered that with a story about Penn's romantic nights with another co-star.

In an interview with The National Enquirer, Fleur van Eeden revealed she and the "Dead Man Walking" star shared "romantic" nights together. Penn directed the film "The Last Face," which Theron starred in. But while Theron was away Penn recited poetry to the 30-year old actress around a campire.

"I find Sean very sexy still, even though he's older. ... Charlize didn't come. I was alone with Sean and a few crew [members]. It was awesome. They put up a tented camp for the crew, and offered Sean the guesthouse. But he refused and insisted on sleeping with us," van Eeden revealed to the National Enquirer.

"One night we all stood 'round a bonfire, and suddenly Sean said, 'I want to read you my poems, my private collection. Would you mind?' It was phenomenal - awesome - under the big starry sky. He's a great poet, a very deep, romantic guy," Van Eeden, who played Charlize Theron's hot blonde stunt double, continued.

According to the National Enquirer, the impromptu open-mic went on almost a week.

"For five nights, he read us five poems at a time. I was entranced. He'd written them over the years, and they were very deep - about his life and losses. He's so romantic, and sad as well," van Eeden said.

Sean Penn recently said that if he does get married Charlize Theron, it would be his first, in spite of his marriages to Madonna and House of Cards actress Robin Wright.

"You say I've been married twice before but I've been married under circumstances where I was less informed than I am today. So I wouldn't even consider it a third marriage, I'd consider it a first marriage on its own terms if I got married again," Penn said in the March issue of U.K. Esquire.
