Miranda Kerr Discusses Co Parenting Son Flynn With Ex Husband Orlando Bloom, Australian Supermodel Maintains Single Status [PHOTO]

Miranda Kerr is keeping very busy - besides co-parenting her young son Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, the supermodel has recently graced the cover of the Harper's Bazaar for its March 2015 issue. In an interview with the magazine's editor-in-chief Kellie Hush, she let loose about motherhood and staying single.

It seems that for now, Kerr is working to be at peace with herself and her independence. She stated, "For the record, I'm single. What I'm trying to do right now, as I've always been the girl with the boyfriend, is to find that comfort within myself."

She continued, "It's quite easy to always look to other people to lift us up or make us feel better about ourselves. At the end of the day, it's really important to be comfortable with your own company and to feel good about that and not have to rely on anyone else."

Bloom is still very much a part of her life, and he and Kerr parted as good friends in October 2013 after six years of marriage together. According to the Daily Mail, Kerr stated, "We're very good friends and this bonding is the most important thing, otherwise Flynn would feel it. We do everything to make sure our relationship is harmonious...We both love and care about each other and genuinely want each other to be happy."

Flynn is now four years old, and living close to Bloom gives Kerr some comfort that raising their child together won't be too difficult. According to the New York Daily News, she said, "It's really nice that Orlando and I now live so close to each other, and it's a really good life for Flynn."

And how fast he's growing! Kerr added cheerfully, "I can't believe he turned four the other day! How quickly that time has gone. I look at him every day and say, 'You're just growing and growing' and 'Where has my little baby gone?' And he says, 'I'm here, Mama.' He's just become this little sponge, learning new words, and he comes out with the funniest things."

How sweet!
