"American Sniper" star Bradley Cooper and girlfriend Suki Waterhouse celebrated Valentine's day apart: he was by his lonesome in New York while the model was with friends in Lake Austin.

According to Daily Mail , Bradley Cooper "spent a cold and lonely Valentine's Day in New York."

But there's not trouble in the horizon for the two lovebirds. "American Sniper" actor Bradley Cooper is currently in New York while headlining "The Elephan Man" on Broadway.

"The actor braved the plummeting temperatures with his hoodie snugly over his head and his hands dug into his pockets," it said. "However, the 'Silver Linings Playbook' star did remain occupied while plugged into a pair of black ear buds."

While Bradley Cooper suffered the cold weather, girlfriend Suki Waterhouse was enjoying the sun as she played with friends.

The model did greet her followers in an early Valentine's Day post on her Instagram. Suki Waterhouse was holding a pink heart balloon as she stared into the camera. Later, the model hammed it up with a friend as they held several heart balloons, along with a giant red one hovering over their heads.

In an earlier interview with Grazia magazine, Suki Waterhouse said that she's looking to settle down and buy a house in London.

"I don't really live anywhere. I literally don't," Bradley Cooper's girlfriend said.

"We're travelling gypsies - it's wherever we're working. I've gotten so into the thing of moving, moving, moving but I'm desperate to have a home. I just want my own little spot - I'm saving, but it's difficult because of the shopping... I'm actually addicted to online shopping - it's something about the packages arriving!"

However, "American Sniper" star Bradley Cooper is looking to have a family of his own someday, preferably with girlfriend Suki Waterhouse.

"I would love to be a father one day. I'm sorry my father won't be around to see his grandchildren, but he knows fatherhood was something I was looking forward to. That's my next big step in life," he told the Square Mile magazine.
