'The Mentalist' Season 7 Actor Simon Baker Hints Conclusion To Fulfill Fans; Spoilers Reveal Lisbon And Jane's Wedding Not As Smooth

Simon Baker promised fans a satisfying conclusion for "The Mentalist" season 7. While Jane and Lisbon will get to have their wedding, an arch-nemesis will play spoilers to the two lovebirds' special day.

In a CBS clip, Simon Baker said that the finale will be satisfying.

"I really enjoyed [being a part of the series] and I want to leave loving the experience and I want the show to finish with people loving the experience," he said.

He said that the ending would be how he would like Patrick Jane to go.

"I pretty much wrote the ending anyway. I didn't write the script, but I definitely wrote the last scene. That's not uncommon; just do it," he said. "I just called Bruno [Heller, creator and executive producer] and said, 'I think this should end it, and what do you think?' And he said, 'I love the idea.' And he wrote a draft and I fiddled with that draft."

The IB Times reported that Patrick Jane is still reeling from the death of Michelle Vega.

What scared the FBI agent most was that it could have been Lisbon and if that happens, he wouldn't know how to survive that.

The synopsis teased spoilers for "The Mentalist" season 7 as it reads: "Jane agrees to once again pretend to be a renowned psychic and be used as bait in an attempt to lure out a serial killer and give the FBI a chance to apprehend him."

In the final episode dubbed "White Orchids," the synopsis says: "Lisbon (Robin Tunney) accepts Jane's surprise marriage proposal, but a killer's quest for revenge may cost them the happy ending they've worked so hard to achieve."

Watch out for more "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers ahead of the airing date of the two-part conclusion starting on Feb. 18.
