Henry Cavill has been rumored to have split from Marisa Gonzalo but his dating life will have to take a backseat for now as the trailer of his latest film "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." is released.

E! News confirmed that Henry Cavill is no longer dating Marisa Gonzalo after they have split following a brief romance.

Last month, reports alleged that Henry Cavill was forced to dump his girlfriend following the backlash about her interests.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the "Man of Steel" actor had to drop Marisa Gonzalo, who is a self-confessed hunter and has posted on social media some of her kills.

Henry Cavill, meanwhile, is a known conservationist.

Henry Cavill has his own foundation, the Cavill Conservation, which is working to protect the animals and their habitat.

Its website said "Durrell focuses on the most threatened animals in the most threatened places. By saving habitats they are restoring the balance of nature - therefore doing our bit to protect the planet."

Henry Cavill and his reps have yet to comment on reports about his new girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo, or their rumored breakup. His ex-girlfriend Gina Carano is also silent on the dating issue.

Meanwhile, according to the website New Now Next, Henry Cavill added secret agent to his superhero resume with the release of the trailer of "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."

The "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" star described the movie as "cool, sexy and especially not heavy Cold War spy thriller."

"The hunky 'Man of Steel' actor sports an array of dapper suits ... featuring appearances from an all-star cast including Armie Hammer, Jared Harris, Elizabeth Debicki and Hugh Grant," the site said.

The synopsis of the film says: "In the early 1960s, CIA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin participate in a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organization, which is working to proliferate nuclear weapons."
