Jason Statham's girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was named as Model of the Year by ELLE Style Award as her contribution in the fashion industry was recognized.

The 27-year-old former Victoria's Secret angel clinched the award at the London's newly opened Sky Garden today in partnership with high-street giant H&M, Film News said in a report.

The ELLE Style Awards recognizes the "world's most stylish stars," as well as the upcoming talents of the industry as well as their achievements.

The award-giving body chose Jason Statham's girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for her great contribution to the industry with her more than ten years of being a model.

The former Victoria's Secret angel, who started as a trainee for a modeling agency, has graced different runway shows all over the world. The gigs have established her as one of the most-paid and sought-after models.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been a model for international catwalks for brands including Burberry, Prada, Givenchy, and Balmain. She has also graced the cover of ELLE UK for four times.

She is currently the face of Paige Denim.

Last week, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley announced to her 2.8 million Twitter followers that she bagged, Express UK said.

She will be neat seen in the upcoming film "Mad max: Fury Road." The Devon-born beauty will star alongside Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult.
