Christina Milian Reality Show: ‘Turned Up’ Star Opens Up About Being A Single Mom

Christina Milian recently promoted her reality show, and the "Turned Up" star opened up about being a single mom.

According to a report from Fox News, the R&B singer and occasional host and actress shared how she juggles her career and raising a child all by herself. The songstress' four-year-old daughter, Violet, is her child with ex-husband and singer The Dream.

"She's my sunshine," Christina Milian gushed.

"She's the reason why I work as hard as I do now."

"Sometimes I'm extremely busy and we don't have enough time in a day to spend as I wish, but she's understanding that mommy has to make sacrifices in order for her to have a great life," the "Dip It Low" singer explained.

Christina Milian's reality show reveals how she tries to make up for being busy with work by catching up with her daughter.

"When we are together I make the most of it, and that's what is important -- making our time quality," she said.

"My nanny, family and friends are also very helpful. But I mentally prepare myself to have as much energy as possible to fulfill everything I need to in a day."

One of the highlights of Christina Milian's reality show is her determination about making a musical comeback. She admitted that her musical career had to take a backseat when she had her daughter, but she acknowledged that it is never too late to still pursue one's passion.

"Never give up. Never stop being creative in finding ways to get exposure," Christina Milian said.

"Also, prepared anytime and all the time. You never know who you will run into," she pointed out.

Christina Milian's reality show also features her outspoken Cuban family, whom she says has been very supportive of her amid career decisions and being a single mom.

"We face challenges every day both big and small. But regardless we are always ready for any obstacle, and we have each other to stay grounded, grow together and for comfort," she said about her family.

"Our memories growing up are what built our foundation. I think we are proof to never give up."

"None of us are perfect, and we're okay with making fun of our flaws," she added.
