In a report by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, "The Roommate" actress Nina Dobrev is allegedly using her split with Ian Somerhalder split as a way to gain more fan base given that Hollywood reportedly wants rising stars who are single.

Now that "The Vampire Diaries" is coming to an end after years of being a hit show, Nina Dobrev will reportedly join the list of Hollywood stars waiting for their next big break in the film industry.

It can be recalled that the actress has landed a few short roles in mvoies while her co-star and ex-boyfriend has inked a lead role in "The Anomaly."

Meanwhile, the actor seemed has gone far from the Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder split issue.

In the actor's recent social media post, he shared a photo of him with his fiancé Nikki Reed as he introduced his "new baby."

But the couple was not referring to a child but a passion project where they are both interested in.

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed collaborated with an online organic retailer, who are advocating for a healthy lifestyle though eating organic food, The Daily Mail said.

"My newest adventure, something I am not only extremely excited about but something I take great pride in that will drastically change all of our lives. My "baby" if you will: Thrive Market," he said in his photo taken at the shop's warehouse.

The actor added that it is a common notion that poor families do not seek for healthy and clean food but he cleared that it is due to the food's high cost.

He suggested, "We start by making healthy, clean, unprocessed, organic, non-GMO products available to ALL people. We educate them. We help them create shopping lists and strategies for meal-planning."

Ian Somerhalder and the "Twilight" star started dating last year and got engaged in January.
