While Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello's wedding is supposed to take place this coming summer, the "Modern Family" actress said that they would delay the affair because of her fiancé's commitment to "Magic Mike XXL."

The sequel will be hitting theater screens on July 1 wherein Manganiello will reprise his role as Big Dick Richie.

In an interview with Page Six, 42-year-old expressed her disappointment about the postponement.

"It's killing me. We wanted to get married this summer, but Joe will be busy working and promoting Magic Mike 2."

Since the promotion of the "Magic Mike XXL" film will take some time, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello's wedding would be moved to a different season.

"We want to get married at a time when we can get away and make time for a honeymoon. So the wedding will probably be later this year."

Prior to Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello's wedding plans, the "Cleveland" show actress was previously engaged to Nick Loeb.

She started dating the 38-year-old in July 2014. After five months of dating, the two got engaged while on a Christmas vacation in Hawaii.

Nonetheless, it appears that the "True Blood" actor isn't the only one busy because Vergara is similarly working on a film entitled "Hot Pursuit" where she stars alongside Reese Witherspoon.

Vergara plays the role of a drug dealer widow turned criminal witness in the comedy, which will be released on May 8.

As reported by Inquisitr, Vergara confirmed her hectic schedule but hinted that it wouldn't stop her from having a grandiose wedding.

"We're trying to figure it out right now, because he's working during the summer, and I'm kind of promoting the movie that I have with Reese Witherspoon... It's gonna be crazy because we want to do something really big. We have to; we tried to make a small list and it didn't work out."

Witherspoon previously talked about her excitement in helping Vergara execute her co-star's wedding plans.
