Tracy Morgan Shows Positive Sign Of Recovery After Car Accident; '30 Rock' Actor Spotted Strolling In The Snow Alone

Tracy Morgan appears to show some positive signs of recovery eight months after the tragic car accident at the New Jersey Turnpike.

Photos published on Daily Mail showed the actor going out alone in New York without the usual help of his fiancee or an aide.

"But the funny man leaned heavily on a cane to steady himself and help him walk as he braved the heavy snow near his New York home," the report said. "The SNL alum looked subdued as he exited the store with a shopping bag slung over his shoulder."

However, Tracy Morgan's health condition is still very fragile considering that at one point, the comedian "paused as if catching his breath."

"He still has a slight limp but seemed confident about walking across the slippery ground in what's obviously an important indication of his determination to be independent and not let his injuries stop him from living a normal life," the article added.

Tracy Morgan's recovery is long and arduous after figuring in a pile-up at the New Jersey Turnpike in the middle of last year. The comedian filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart since its driver was the one who instigated the road collision that killed one of the comedian's entourage.

Wal-Mart already settled with the family of comedian James McNair for an undisclosed amount.

In a statement published on E!, the retail giant said, "We know there is nothing we can do to change what happened to Mr. McNair but Walmart and his family have worked closely together to reach an agreement. We will continue to work to conclude all of the remaining issues as a result of the accident and we are committed to doing what is right."

Meanwhile, Tracy Morgan's lawsuit against Wal-Mart continues even as he still recovers from the car crash that killed his friend.
