Nonetheless, E! News dismissed the rumors saying that the two are nothing but friends. No displays of affection also took place that night.

Some fans were also quick to point out that Hutcherson has a different girlfriend.

Even if the two worked together for years as a love team, their friendship didn't proceed to a romantic level. Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence remain best friends.

Hutcherson even admitted to E! News that his phone contains "Hanging Tree" - the song which Lawrence had to sing for "Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.'

"It is, because Jen took my phone, bought it and and put it on there for me so she knew I had it," he explained.

Now that they're done filming the last film of the hit franchise, Hutcherson says that he's taking a rest.
