The "Lizzie McGuire" star Hilary Duff recently spilled in an interview about her insight on her divorce from Mike Comrie. The singer and actress also said that she is not sure about the idea of forever.

According to a report from The Huffington Post, 27-year-old former Disney star Hilary Duff, who is currently dealing with her divorce from Mike Comrie, related how she felt that "forever" is not meant for people.

"I don't want to sound bitter because I'm definitely not, but I don't know if people are meant to be together forever," the "So Yesterday" singer told Cosmopolitan magazine, as she graced its cover issue for the month of April.

She also added, "Things happen over a long relationship that you can't always fight. A marriage of 20 years, the accomplishment of that must feel really great, but there are also huge sacrifices. I just always want to fight for happiness."

The "Come Clean" singer, who recently filed for divorce last month, said that she and Mike Comrie were really in love when they met.

"We both really wanted to get married. I'd been working since the age of 11 or 12, so making that choice at a young age seemed right for me. Maybe it wasn't, but we spent the majority of our time together really happy."

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie are parents to their son Luca, who will celebrate his birthday this month.

Meanwhile, Hilary Duff also debunked that rumors that her ex-boyfriend and teenage romance Aaron Carter is trying to win her back, NY Daily News said.
