Erica Mena Gives Up 'Love & Hip Hop New York' For Bow Wow? Reality Star Focuses On Being A Wife

Reality star Erica Mena reportedly quit "Love & Hip Hop New York" to concentrate on her budding business and being a wife to Bow Wow.

The news was shared by Bow Wow, real name Shad Moss, himself in an interview with Access Hollywood Life.

"Now she's done she's out here full time now. She has some great things coming as well. She has HER, her clothing line she's running," Bow Wow said of Erica Mena.

"She's branching that out. She's doing a lot of big things too and she's looking forward to the move. She's actually on the plane on her way here right now."

According to News Pittsburgh Courier Online, "Love & Hip Hop New York" creator Mona Scott-Young and Erica Mena have yet to confirm Bow Wow's revelation that the reality tv show cast member is leaving the show.

But it seems there's nothing to confirm as Erica Mena reportedly didn't join the taping for "Love & Hip Hop New York" because she's allegedly done with all the hate heaped on her by her cast members.

"A lot of people cast this season were cast because of beef with her," a source told Bossip. "Erica was pretty much sick of the deflecting and the projecting of off other people's negativity."

Cyn Santana, Chrissy and Jhonni Blaze have been reported to have some tiff with Erica Mena in the VH1 reality series.

"She's about to be somebody's wife and she didn't want to put herself in the type of space where that could happen," the insider added. "She didn't want to put herself in a place where she has to act negative. She's in a different place now."

In September last year, Bow Wow and Erica Mena were reported to be engaged. The rapper posted a photo of her engagement ring on his social media to confirm the news. They started dating after the "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" guested on "106 & Park," Shad Moss' show on BET.
