Meryl Davis Maksim Chmerkovskiy Dating? "Dancing with the Stars" season 20 is about to begin but DWTS fans are still pining for season 18. Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Olympic gold ice dancer Meryl Davis generataed a lot of heat when they won the DWTS trophy. Rumors that Meryl and Maksim were dating started at the fourth week four of Dancing With The Stars season 18.

Maks and Meryl reunited last December for the shows Shall We Dance on Ice" and "Sway." This restarted the rumors that Maks and Meryl were back together, and not just on the dance floor.

"I absolutely love him, and he's an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer," Davis recently told the Glamour magazine.

"Dancing With the Stars" Season 18 champions Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy still hold on to the hope that their idols would end up in each other's arms - not just on the dance floor but in real life.

Davis won the 2014 Olympic gold medal for figure skating with partner Charlie White. Chmerkovskiy is a Ukrainian American Latin Ballroom dance champion, choreographer and instructor.  When he quit "Dancing with the Stars" he announced he was retiring in order to study acting and expand his chain of dance studios.

Both Davis and Chmerkovskiy insist they are not dating and that they are just friends. Chmerkovskiy once said he thinks they would never date. New rumors say Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are dating.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd recently were rumored to ba back together, but DWTS pro dancer Chmerkovskiy has been dubbed the Casanova of Dancing With the Stars

GLOBE Magazine reported that Maksim fell for his co-star Peta Murgatroyd in its February 16th edition.

Maksim reportedly rekindled his romance with the Australian dancer Peta Murgatroyd.

"Peta is Max's girl. She couldn't care less about making things official or being called his girlfriend. She is so the opposite of clingy and is content to just spend time with him and be happy," a source told The Globe.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd dated for almost 10 months. Maksim and his fellow "Dancing With the Stars" pro split up in early 2013.
