Lions are awesome to look at, but one feline got too close for comfort for one family.

In a 2014 video that is just now gaining attention on YouTube, a female lion is seen opening a passenger door with her mouth, scaring the family members inside the car.

“Oh my gosh, I didn’t know they could do that,” a female passenger is heard saying in the video.

Joshua Sutherland, who uploaded the terrifying video on YouTube wrote in the description, “My sister Kaylene & Cindy visiting our parents, who are serving a mission in South Africa, had an experience of a lifetime,” according to the U.K.’s The Mirror.

Lions have become a source of terror before in South Africa. In 2009, a lion at a safari park in Johannesburg reportedly opened a car door and chased after the vehicle as it sped off, according to the Huffington Post.

The YouTube video has garnered over 8 million views so far and 13,000 likes.

Despite the terrifying situation the travelers experienced, a handful of social media users found the video rather funny.

“The lion was just removing the food packaging,” wrote YouTube user VanaeCavae.

Fellow social media user OTResident commented, “These people wouldn’t last 5 minutes in Jurassic Park.”
