Lil Wayne Shooting Prank Not Charged By Cops As Rapper Becomes Victim Of 'Swatting'

The reported Lil Wayne shooting prank has been making the headlines on the internet as of late.

The report, as updated by TMZ, states that a supposed shooting that took place inside Lil' Wayne's Miami beach house, has been reported to the Miami beach police. The caller reportedly said that four people have been shot inside the house. The police wasted no time and took the call seriously, resulting in the sending of their force to the scene.

The force cleared the area outside of the house before going inside, only to discover that they have been pranked.

As reported by the source cited above, it was the seond time this week that the police have been in the rapper's residence to inverstigate. Previously, they went to check on an alleged person outside the house acting suspiciously.

Fans of Lil' Wayne were worried about the rapper's condition during the shooting prank, some even speculated that the person who was allegedly shot was Wayne himself. They were then relieved to find out about the falsity of the report. Young Money, who is known to be Lil' Wayne's friend, then tweeted about his safety.

"Wayne is okay," tweeted the celebrity. "Wasn't home during alleged events." 

After the incident, the rapper also took to his social media account to address the prank. He posted a photo of him inside the recording studio seemingly working on his songs. His caption read, "Prank kall mane." This caption led fans to believe that the rapper was directing his photo to the people who prank called the Miami Beach Police and used his IP address and his house address to cause a commotion.

The Lil Wayne shooting prank is another incident that occured under the "swatting" pranks.
