DJ Diplo and Taylor Swift's feud was just one-sided because the "Blank Space" songstress opted to remain silent. While she did not fight back, her fans were quick to defend the singer from Katy Perry's ex's insults about her body.

In a recent interview with GQ Style,  DJ Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, admitted that upsetting the "Swifties" was one of his career's greatest mistakes.

"All I know is don't ever get into a feud with Taylor Swift. She has like 50 million people that will die for her. It's like an army that's worse than North Korea. You can't step into that arena. That was something I was never prepared for... one of the biggest mistakes of my career was definitely f*****g with her."

DJ Diplo and Taylor Swift's feud started when the musician mocked the blonde beauty's derriere. He wrote on Twitter: "Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty."

Katy Perry's ex-boyfriend then posted a link to a Fundly account which was created by a web user named Eric Spivak.

The fundraising activity is called the "Get Taylor Swift a Booty." The description reads: "Taylor Swift Still Needs Your Help! Any true supporter of TSWIFT would definitely not pass up this opportunity to improve her posterior!"

His insults did not only angered the fans but also Taylor Swift's close friend, Lorde.

In an attempt to defend the "Shake It Off" songstress, the 18-year-old songwriter said that the DJ should do something about his "tiny" manhood.

Diplo did not contradict Lorde. He explained his reason to GQ Style, "I can go head-to-head with anybody. I don't care who you are. I didn't go after Lorde because she's my friend and she's a young girl and the one person I kept it cool with."

While the row already ended, DJ Diplo added that Taylor Swift is "very strategic" when it comes to her friends and enemies. He likewise said that he knew "lots of secrets" about the "Out of the Woods" hit maker.

"I can't divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And I'm scared. I'm scared for my life," he said in the same interview.
