Tracy Morgan's Health Condition Prevents '30 Rock' Actor From Watching 'SNL' 40th Anniversary Tribute? Family Of Fellow Comedian Killed In Car Crash Gets $10 Million From Wal-Mart

Tracy Morgan's health condition prohibited him from watching the "SNL" tribute, as the family of James McNair-the comedian who was killed in the car crash-received $40 million from Wal-Mart.

According to the Associated Press, published on TVGuide, the "SNL" 40th anniversary paid tribute to Tracy Morgan, led by his "30 Rock" co-stars Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey, last month.

"But Morgan hasn't watched it yet because he isn't emotionally ready to see it yet," it said. "Morgan was unable to attend the event, so his former 30 Rock co-stars paid homage to him by introducing a clip of his one of his most beloved characters, Brian Fellow."

However, Tracy Morgan's lawyer did say that the comedian was "incredibly moved" by the gesture of his co-stars.

Back in November last year, Tracy Morgan's lawyer Benedict Morelli told reporters per TV Guide that Tracy Morgan might not regain his comedic timing because of his health condition.

"He's fighting to get better, and if there's a chance for him to be back to the Tracy Morgan he once was, he's going to try to do that," he said.

"But we just don't know because of the severity of the injuries that he sustained and the fact that he had such a severe brain injury."

Meanwhile, Wal-Mart has agreed to settle with the family of James McNair in relation to his death following the crash at the New Jersey Turnpike.

"The retail giant has planned now to settle up with the family of James McNair, after a lengthy court battle, with a settlement of $10 million dollars," FanSided said. "McNair's children, Jamel, 26, and Denita, 19, will be receiving the money that will be paid in increasing monthly sums, starting at $3,000. This will continue for the rest of their lives."

Tracy Morgan also filed a civil lawsuit against Wal-Mart, which he blamed for his health condition. His lawsuit is still pending.
