Something big is coming up for Olivia Pope and the rest of the gladiators as they prepare for the wedding of the year, according to the latest "Scandal" season 4, episode 17 spoilers.

In the teaser video, Olivia Pope gets a phone call in the middle of the night and she immediately summons the gladiators.

"Quinn (Katie Lowes) leaves her bedmate Charlie (George Newbern)-which, can we just say, ew Quinn! Standards, girl.-and Abby (Darby Stanchfield) leaves her boyfriend Leo (Paul Adelstein) who knows she wouldn't be leaving at 4 a.m. 'unless something big happened,'" said E! News.

"And something big is indeed happening, since Cyrus (Jeff Perry) also warrants a middle-of-the-night phone call from Liv, but his reaction is less uniform and more...explosive," the spoilers for "Scandal" season 4, episode 17 added.

In the next episode, Cyrus and Michael will get hitched on the advice of Olivia Pope. Mellie also announces that the White House will have its very first gay wedding, earning the ire of the conservative Republicans.

"While Cyrus' relationship with his late husband James Novak was filled with murder plots and betrayal, the two undoubtedly loved one another. The same can't be said for Cyrus and his new finance Michael," said Penn Live. "This isn't going to be a marriage built on love. It is, instead, a union created to save face."

Fans should remember that Michael was found to be sleeping with a prostitute, creating a scandal.

The synopsis for "Scandal" season 4, episode 17 reveals spoilers as it reads, "Olivia's team advise Cyrus to get married ASAP after Michael gets involved in a sticky situation. Elsewhere, David launches his plan to defeat B613."
