Demi Lovato news reported how the "Skyscraper" singer thanked her fans via Twitter for celebrating her sobriety.

According to a report from Daily Mail, the singer and actress took to social media to thank fans for encouraging her. The former Disney star recently celebrated three years of being sober after spending most of her teen life being addicted to drugs and alcohol.

She also admitted to having an eating disorder, as well as personality issues that caused her to be paranoid with people.

"I'm still catching up to texts and congrats tweets. Thank everyone who has supported my journey... I never knew sobriety was possible for me," Demi Lovato posted on Twitter.

"But with the love and support I've been given from my friends, fans and family... I now celebrate my 3rd birthday (of being sober)."

"Thank you to everyone. I love you all," she added.

Aside from Demi Lovato's Twitter post thanking her supportive fans, the 22-year-old celebrity also expressed through Instagram her gratitude for her boyfriend, "That 70s Show" actor Wilmer Valderrama.

According to Page Six, Demi Lovato believes her 35-year-old boyfriend helped her recover from struggles with substance abuse and numerous disorders.

"I wish I could put into words how grateful I am for this man right here. My love has grown to a level that words could never possibly express how much this man completes me," Demi Lovato wrote alongside the black and white image of her and Wilmer Valderrama kissing.

"He's loved me the way I never thought I deserved to be loved and with this day making my 3rd year sober... After sharing my ups, putting up with my downs and supporting my recovery... he still never takes credit and I want the world to know how incredible his soul is."

"I really wouldn't be alive today without him. I love you Wilmer," she wrote.
