Lorde has been known to keep things private when it comes to her personal life. Recently however, her second year anniversary with her boyfriend was considered by fans to have been an exemption.

She recently posted a photo of the both of them with her boyfriend resting his elbow on her shoulders. The photo was captioned: "two years, and sandstorms, and the stars haven't left my eyes." 

Her boyfriend, James Lowe, is known to be a Singaporean photographer based in New Zealand. He usually takes photos of Lorde and posts them on his own Instagram page. 

Following his girlfriend's post, Lowe also took to social media and uploaded a photo of his shadow beside the 21-year-old's. The photo was captioned with the words, "Two years with my shadow's bestfriend."

As previously reported, James wrote a blog post about his relationship with the "Royals" singer. The post was titled "Everybody Returns Some Day," and was posted on Ono Field.

"My life is probably a lot different now, but it feels normal on the inside," an excerpt read. "Jared Leto said that fame doesn't change you, it changes everyone around you. While I'm not the centre of attention here (and fuck, the times I have, it's never been fun), I do become aware of the people around me and their transparency."

"They fail to hide it. I've experienced being a target of the tabloids, finding moments I thought I was in safe hands splattered all over the internet, being pushed and shoved, or watching others get pushed and shoved by paparazzi just to get what they think they're entitled to. While I'm dragging on about the negative aspects, they are only a small part of my world now."

"There is a bright, shining silver lining to this thing I've been exposed to," the blog post adds. "I've had the privilege to sit on an aircraft for 12 hours, cramped, exhausted but happy (like Louis CK once said, 'YOU'RE FLYING. YOU'RE SITTING IN A CHAIR IN THE SKY!')."

The two have been known to be dating for two years already.
