Gerard Butler has been dubbed by fans to be hollywood's hunk.

He has portrayed the image of a ladies man, and even played one onscreen in 2009's "The Ugly Truth," co-starring Katherine Heigl. But it seems that Gerard Butler has given up his womanizing ways and is finally ready to settle down.

It all started with the actor staying in a committed relationship for six months with interior designer Morgan Brown. According to the latest report from Star Magazine, Butler has actually proposed to his girlfriend.

"Gerry is crazy about Morgan," wrote Celebrity Dirty Laundry.  "He knew from the beginning that she was different from his past girlfriends." The magazine's insider also adds that the 45-year old even keeps a photo of his fiancee's engagement ring. The ring was supposedly also sighted on Morgan's finger during the couple's Malibu vacation in March.

The couple has had everyone in Hollywood buzzing about their romance as they appeared to be increasingly in love in the course of their relationship. The Daily Mail reports that the two have been spotted acting lovey dovey at various events.

In December of last year, it was reported that Butler had moved in with Brown. 'Gerard is a one-woman man now," wrote a report from MSN. "They just moved in together. And now they're talking marriage.''

The interior designer was also reportedly instrumental in turning the actor's life around. "Morgan also put him on a regime of green juices, and since then, he's lost weight and he's feeling healthier," the source shared.

Speculation as to Morgan's identity increased as the seriousness of their relationship became more apparent. It turns out, Morgan was a former model before she reinvented herself as a business woman and interior designer. Morgan's mother, Karen Brown was also a model and has a child by legendary actor Peter O' Toole. 

Butler was formerly involved with Romanian model Madaline Ghenea in 2013.
