After Zayn Malik quit, the rest of the One Direction members are not going to break up soon and they even promised a new studio album coming out soon.

In an interview with The Sun, their first time since Zayn Malik quit the band, Louis Tomlinson said that they are all "100 percent" committed to continuing what they started/

"We want to thank the fans for being so incredible during this time. We have so much more we still want to achieve," he said. "Our gigs in South Africa were some of the biggest the country has ever seen, so it's exciting for us to keep breaking records for British music worldwide."

"It's been a tough few weeks, probably the toughest since the band was formed five years ago," Liam Payne volunteered. "We're gutted that Zayn chose to leave, but now after a few performances as a four piece, we're feeling confident and are determined to carry on stronger than ever."

Harry Styles, meanwhile, revealed that they are working on a new studio album. 

"It shows how incredible the fans have been. A huge thank you to them for everything they've done for us. All the love to them," he explained.

After Zayn Malik quit, Louis Tomlinson took to Twitter to declare, "Been a crazy couple of days but know that we are going to work harder than ever to deliver the best album we've ever made for you guys!"

One fan noted, "take a rest please stop working so hard take a break!!! we don't want a fifth album we want zayn."

Another said, "don't you understand that we don't want a fifth album we just want a fifth member."

Still another fan advised, "we aren't worried about the damn album take a break hang with your family and friends just be happy ugh."
