Photos of Kristen Stewart's latest eyewear campaign for Chanel were released as the "Twilight" star brought her signature look to the black-and-white shoot.

"The face of Chanel since late 2013, Stewart has brought her signature smolder to a number of Chanel campaigns (and front rows)," said People. "But for this latest photoshoot (directed, as always, by Lagerfeld himself), she goes behind the camera in black-and-white for a series of pensive, sunglasses-clad shots."

"Kristen Stewart gives a subtly rock yet always elegant touch to the new Chanel frames. Vintage camera in hand, she gazes at a scene known only to her," the press release claimed.

Kristen Stewart earlier joined Johnny Depp's ex Vanessa Paradis and Alice Dellal for Chanel's spring handbag campaign, "3 Girls 3 Bags."

According to Chanel press release, "Kristen Stewart first met Karl Lagerfeld in 2007 when she was only 17 years old. In 2013 she became the face of the Métiers d'art Paris-Dallas 2013/14 collection."

"It always felt like a privilege to wear Chanel and to be around Karl who is an artist that, for me, constantly inspires," said Robert Pattinson's ex-girlfriend. "For me the iconic handbag is just like the House of Chanel, fundamental and modern."

Kristen Stewart's Chanel eyewear campaign was described by MTV News as "a very meta moment."

"KStew shows off how well she photographs while clutching a vintage camera. She also proves she can work a variety of frame shapes, from aviator to square frames," it said of Robin Pattinson's ex-girlfriend. "The androgynous beauty also flaunts her versatility in a pair of square frames."

"Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart credited Karl Lagerfeld of making her look good in Chanel's eyewear campaign.

"It was about finding which pieces from the collection worked on me," she told People of Karl Lagerfeld. "He's so good at seeing something that's not cool and making it cool."

"Like, I would have my leg in one position and he would throw a toothpick in my mouth and tell me to stop leaning on my leg and in two seconds it was like, 'Oh, there it is.'"

"It was very cool and easy and artistic. I didn't feel like I had to push outside of myself. I didn't have to try to turn into someone else," Robert Pattinson's ex-girlfriend added.
