Earlier this week, there were teaser statements that the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer would finally be released, ahead of the one to be shown at the special IMAX version.

And today director Zac Snyder himself has unveiled the very first "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer. Ahead of Snyder's announcement, viewers were invited to watch out for his Twitter post, so that they can be one of those who can watch the full "Batman v Superman" trailer before everyone else in the special IMAX screening.

Right on time, Snyder posted the clip on his official Twitter account, plus the link that fans can visit in order to sign up for an advanced special viewing .

There are speculations that the trailer will be attached to the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" screening scheduled for May 1 in the United States. Still, others say that the trailer could come earlier. The new Avengers movie is set to be released in the UK and France on April 22., and the trailer could be released to coincide with the movie's earlier premiere.

The posted "Batman v Superman" trailer does not show much. It is only 21 seconds long, and the actors who are playing Batman and Superman, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, do not appear in the clip. Instead, what is featured are the brand new costumes that the two superheroes will be dressed in.

With this trailer's release, the Warner Bros. movie officially goes head to head with the second sneak peek promised for the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens " movie.

This is the latest promotional release that has come out for the film that superhero fans have been waiting for. Previously, "Batman v Superman" stills surfaced, which included first looks at Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, and the new Batmobile.
