Mariah Carey Lashes At Ex-Husband Nick Cannon In 'Infinity?' But America's Got Talent Host Helps Promote Diva's Song

Mariah Carey just dropped a new track called "Infinity" and the lyrics reportedly sounded like a diss to her former husband, Nick Cannon. However, that didn't stop the "America's Got Talent" host to promote the song.

The lyrics of "Infinity" looked suspiciously like a shade directed at Nick Cannon.

"Why you mad?/Talkin' 'bout you're mad/Could it be that you just lost the best you've ever had," Mariah Carey starts.

"Is it lack of ice got you so cold?/ Have you ever felt this on your own?/Why you tryin' to play like you're so grown?/Everything you own boy you still owe," she belts out.

As to the chorus, the lyrics stated, "'Close the door/Lose the key/Leave my heart on the mat for me/I was yours eternally/There's an end to infinity."

Daily Mail noted that the alleged diss didn't stop Mariah Carey's ex-husband Nick Cannon from promoting the song.

"The America's Got Talent host has promoted his former spouse's song and third compilation album on his Instagram account as of late, captioning with the hashtag "Family First,'" it said.

In another post, Nick Cannon shared the album cover for "Infinity" with the caption, "@MariahCarey tonight at midnight on itunes #Infinity."

One fan commented, "Blah haaaaaa. Lmao. I knew that he was puttin on a show. She nailed it. As always she has to say nothing. She just makes her music."

Another said, "You got nailed by this song bra."

But one fan took note of the Mariah Carey's alleged diss on "Infinity," as she wrote about Nick Cannon, "He is classy. That's my opinion. I love the way he's handling everything right now. He is a real gentleman in my eyes."

Another of Nick Cannon's followers commented, "She sound like a bitter baby momma...chicks be on that weak stuff...jus do you dog...let all that hatin fall to the waste side."
