Taylor Swift and new boyfriend Calvin Harris hosted a party at her Los Angeles apartment with her friends, proving that the couple has the approval of the "Blank Space" hitmaker's posse.

Calvin Harris whipped up some of his specialties for his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and her friends, Ellie Goulding, Haim, Halston Sage, Lorde and Serayah of "Empire."

"The girls were dressed down for their night in, with both Ellie and Taylor wearing shirts and Serayah sporting a loose vest top," said Daily Mail. "The gang also invited sister band Haim, singer Lorde and Crisis actress Halston Sage along for the barbecue, with the girls pictured hanging out on a porch in the early evening sunshine."

Ellie Goulding gushed about her friend Taylor Swift's boyfriend's cooking skills as she particularly mentioned Calvin Harris in a Twitter post when she wrote, "Shoutout to @CalvinHarris for hooking me up with vegan bbq tonight."

Taylor Swift documented the house party in her Instagram as she shared some photos while posing with her posse.

And it seems boyfriend Calvin Harris was getting in on the act, as he shared a snap of Taylor Swift's cats on his own Instagram.

"The EDM DJ, 31, posted a shot of the two adorable felines, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, on Instagram on Tuesday, April 28, simply captioning the image, 'Moment,'" Us Weekly reported. "The two cuties seemed to be begging for something (perhaps a treat?), with Olivia standing on her hind legs."
