‘Fashion Police’ News: RuPaul Being Considered As New Host? 'Good Work' Star To Replace Kathy Griffin And Kelly Osbourne After Zendaya Coleman – Giuliana Rancic Controversy?

"Fashion Police" news reported that RuPaul is being considered as a new host for the hit E! series. According to a report from Hollywood Life, the "Good Work" star could possibly replace Kathy Griffin and Kelly Osbourne, who left the show after a controversy involving Zendaya Coleman and mainstay Giuliana Rancic.

"E! loves working with RuPaul on the show 'Good Work' and would like to test Ru with others they are trying out for the show when it returns," a source revealed.

"E! feels that Rupaul would be awesome and they are interested in making it work."

If RuPaul would eventually be a "Fashion Police" host, he will be joining stylist Brad Goreski and Giuliana Rancic. The latter was blasted after she commented on the dreadlocks worn by teen star Zendaya Coleman during the 2015 Oscars ceremony, saying she must have "smelled like patchouli oil or weed."

After apologizing for the racial joke, "Fashion Police" news reported by USA Today confirmed that Giuliana Rancic will still be part of the show when it returns on September for the 2015 Emmy Awards review.

"I think more than ever, (Fashion Police) is definitely coming back, because (the Zendaya controversy and Kelly Osbourne's departure) shows that a lot of people were watching the show and enjoyed the show," Giuliana Rancic said.

Fans of the show would only hope that Giuliana Rancic and RuPaul would get along, especially after former mainstays have expressed their disappointment over the returning host.

Recent "Fashion Police" news reported how Kathy Griffin, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulous were all dismayed with Giuliana Rancic, who blamed the Zendaya Coleman controversy to the show's poor editing.

"I made a reference to the hippie culture. I talked about patchouli oil, which is a hippie perfume," Giuliana Rancic explained, reported by TV Line.

"In the editing process, some of the gestures I made, some of the things I said were taken out for time. I made peace signs, I said 'bohemian' twice - those were taken out for time."

"So when the joke aired, some people were offended by it. And that's just something I have to live with," Giuliana Rancic added.
