Sam Smith Cancels Remaining Dates In Concert Tour; Releases Official Statement!

Sam Smith has canceled more dates in his concert tour. The Grammy winning singer was previously forced to cancel his Australian tour dates after being diagnosed with a small hemorrhage on his vocal cords. He revealed this news, and told fans that he was flying back to the U.S. on his Instagram account

"I've just left Australia and I'm on my way to the states to see a specialist to see what to do from there," he posted on Instagram. "This is f---ing horrid."

Smith also had to back out of the remaining tour dates he had set in Japan and the Philippines.
In his Facebook page, he addressed his fans directly.

"I have some bad news, I've been to the doctors today and although my four days vocal rest has definitely helped, I still have some serious issues with my vocal cords which need to be addressed," he wrote. "I am having to fly to the USA to see a specialist there and as a result need to re-schedule the shows to later this year"

"This is horrible for me and I'm truly very sorry that I cannot come and see you guys," he continued. "I hope you understand and cannot wait to see you in the near future."

"In The Lonely Hour," which is the name of the British singer's album, kicked off in January 2015 and is scheduled for several other tour dates in North America.

The British singer arrived in Los Angeles on Monday and was seen making his way through LAX wearing sunglasses and slim jeans and a striped shirt. According to The Daily Mail, The 22-year-old previously reassured fans that he was well and that he had not spoken a word in three days in order to rest his vocal cords.
