Princess Charlotte Of Cambridge Meets Queen Elizabeth; Princess Diana's Chief Of Staff Releases Statement!

Princess Charlotte of Cambridge has been making headlines even before she was born.

Delivered last May 4, the whole world cheered on for both Duchess Kate and Prince William as they went outside the hospital where Charlotte was delivered, particularly the St. Mary's Hospital in London.

Now that days have passed and both Charlotte and Kate have recovered, It reached the time when Charlotte would meet her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, who was away for an official engagement when Charlotte was born. The Queen was seen arriving today at the Kensington Palace.

According to ABC News, the Queen spent about 30 minutes with Charlotte before having to leave once again. Despite their brief meeting, fans are certain that the queen found her great grand daughter to be a delight as how everyone thinks of her.

As previously reported, there have been numerous rumors about the Princess' name before she was born. Names like Alice, Charlotte and Diana were amongst the top bets from betting houses. The name was then confirmed to be Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, the last two of which are derived from the Prince William's mother, Diana, and his grand mother, Elizabeth. As to Charlotte, fans say that Kate probably just liked the sound of it.

It has been known that Duchess Kate, Prince William and their first born Prince George have been living in Kensington Palace. Now that there is a new addition to their family, they will be transferring to Anmer Hall, a 10-bedroom house that was given to Prince William on his 30th birthday.
