"Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan thinks that people might be mistaken in labeling him as the world's "Hottest Hunk." The 33-year-old actor recently nabbed the top spot in Heat magazine's annual survey.

The father of "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan sheds light to Mirror Online on how his son reacted to the winning.

"I sent Jamie the Hottest Hunks copy to South Africa where he's filming. Winning these sort of things doesn't mean an awful lot to Jamie, but I knew he'd be pleased."

"When I called him he told me, 'There must be some kind of mistake'. But that's his usual modest self-effacement coming through," added the older Dornan.

Dakota Johnson's on-screen boyfriend is currently filming "Jadotville." He is also working on the third series of "The Fall." It is also believed that the "Fifty Shades Darker" project is already in the pipeline.

Given the actor's hectic schedule, his father hopes that he will get a break.

While "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan remains supportive of his son, Star Magazine previously reported that the actor's wife, Amelia Warner, didn't fancy the idea of his husband reprising his role as Christian Grey.

"Amelia didn't love the idea of him doing such a sexually charged movie. But he said it would skyrocket his career. He tried to assure her nothing would change between them," said an insider to the magazine.

"Women all over the world now lust after Jamie. It upsets her to know that she has quietly sit by and watch him receive all this unwanted attention," added the source.

Despite the rumors, Jamie Dornan previously said that he got his wife's blessings to finish his commitments for "Fifty Shades of Grey."

It is believed that the sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker" will be released in February 2017 while the final installment, "Fifty Shades Freed," will come out a year after.
