Recently, the producer followed the 22-year-old student on Twitter. Fans were quick to speculate that he might soon hit on Louis Tomlinson's ex-girlfriend as revenge.

Louis Tomlinson and Naughty Boy recently had a Twitter spat when the "Steal my Girl" singer posted a joke on Twitter seemingly pertaining to Zayn Malik's edited photo with the producer.

"Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha ! Some people still do HA!"

The 1D performer also accused the producer of "riding on the back" of Malik. Naughty Boy, whose real name is Shahid Khan, responded by posting, "And some people can't even sing..but who's complaining when there's auto tune eh."

Zayn Malik opted to defend Naughty Boy by posting a tweet addressed to his former bandmate.

He said, "Remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?"

If Naughty Boy indeed plans to woo Eleanor Calder, he might encounter a problem because the brunette beauty isn't active on Twitter anymore.

Back when Louis Tomlinson was dating Eleanor Calder, she was a regular recipient of threats from some devoted Directioners.

As a result, she became quiet on Twitter. Last year, she only posted six times on her account. She is, however, active on Instagram especially after her breakup with the "Night Changes" singer.

Meanwhile, Louis Tomlinson recently admitted that he already patched things up with Zayn Malik.

"There's been a bit of back and forth, but we're on good terms with him," Louis Tomlinson told "The Late Late Show's" James Corden.

"I've never been very good at biting my tongue. Maybe I get it off my mom. It's just one of those things - Twitter's great for connecting with the fans, but also, if you feel like saying something you probably shouldn't, it's also good for that, as well. Or bad in this case!"

"It's all resolved. It's all good in the hood," he assured fans.
