Jon Gosselin reportedly wants custody of one of his kids. According to a report from E!Online, the ex-husband of reality star Kate Gosselin is determined to fight for his children.

Based on legal papers filed in Berks Country, Pennsylvania, the star of "Jon and Kate Plus Eight" is determined to secure full custody of 11-year-old Hannah Gosselin. The child is just one of Jon Gosselin's eight kids with former spouse Kate Gosselin.

"Jon's priority is what is best for the kids. (He will) fight for them," said Jon Gosselin's attorney, Kristen Doleva.

Another rep for Jon Gosselin said the kids remain to be his focus throughout his highly publicized divorce and custody battle with Kate Gosselin.

"Jon is currently not commenting on the situation. His focus remains on his children," the rep stated.

A source also clarified why Hannah Gosselin is the only one out of Jon Gosselin's eight kids that he is seeking custody for.

"Jon is filing for custody because Hannah has expressed she is unhappy and uncomfortable in the house with Kate Gosselin," the source revealed.

"In a perfect world, Jon would take all the kids, but he's not in a position to. For now, he's at least trying to help Hannah. Out of all the children, she's the one voicing her discomfort."

"So far, Jon has been tight-lipped about this because he's not seeking media attention. It's just about helping his daughter," the insider added.

The E! Online report also recalled how Jon Gosselin said his kids fear their mother. He also accused Kate Gosselin of using their children for publicity.

"I want temporary primary custody until Kate goes on a psychiatric evaluation," he stated during an interview last February.

"She uses them as her props. It's a problem for her that she can't afford our old lifestyle anymore. It's so unfair to them."

"I work really hard to keep my kids safe and then she just goes and tweets about them all the time. I don't have a Twitter anymore and even when I did, I never tweeted about my kids. I kept their lives private," Jon Gosselin pointed out.
