Uncle Jermaine Jackson is fully behind Paris Jackson's rumored engagement to boyfriend Chet Castellaw, even if she's still 17 years old.

TMZ described Jermaine Jackson's attitude about the whole engagement issue as "laissez-faire."

When the TMZ cameraman caught up with the former Jackson 5 member if he knows something about Paris Jackson and boyfriend Chet Castellaw being engaged, he replied, "I don't know."

Is he okay with Paris Jackson being engaged at just 17 years old?

"No, listen, you never know about love," he added as he hopped into his Ferrari.

"If she was married now, would you be good with that?"

"Yeah," Jermaine Jackson said as the Ferrari sped off.

Daily Mail earlier published a photo of Paris Jackson and Chester Castellaw stepping out of a coffee shop over the weekend.

"The 17-year-old and her 'fiance' were snapped together in Calabasas, Los Angeles after stopping into SunLife Organics to grab a couple of smoothies," it said. "Paris looked chill in a pair of black leggings and a purple tank top, with her blonde and red highlighted hair falling around her shoulders."

Michael Jackson's daughter stayed true to her rock chic look by sporting a lot of accessories such as a pentagram necklace, various bracelets, rings, but what caught the tabloids' attention was her rumored engagement ring.

"While the ice wasn't the size one might expect the king of pop's heir to flaunt, Chet's youth contract with soccer club Real So Cal won't have him in the big bucks just yet," the British tabloid said.
