"Divergent" star Theo James is reportedly signing on for "Underworld 5" along with Kate Berkinsale amid the nasty rumors that his relationship with girlfriend Ruth Kearney is threatened by his co-star Shailene Woodley.

In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Kate Berkinsale will reprise her role as the vampire Selene in "Underworld 5."

Meanwhile, "Theo James, who appeared briefly in 2012's Underworld: Awakening, is attached to reprise his character as he fulfills an option agreement," the report said.

According to THR, the story of "Underworld 5" will focus on Theo James' character, the vampire David. The film is also not "a reboot but rather an expansion of the existing universe."

But the report belies the earlier interview by "Divergent" star Theo James for Digital Spy, where he said he won't be able to join the cast of "Underworld 5."

"They have something in the works, but my involvement in it is..." he said. "I think it's going be very difficult to do that with these [Divergent] movies, and my other commitments."

Theo James and Shailene Woodley are set to start shooting for "Allegiant Part 1," this summer. The actor will also be seen in "The Secret Scripture" and "London Fields" with Johnny Depp.

Speaking of Shailene Woodley, the 23-year-old actress found herself in the middle of the rumor that she's the reason for Theo James and girlfriend Ruth Kearney's relationship being in limbo.

The whole rumor started when Theo James gave an interview with German magazine Joy, as reported by Belfast Telegraph and shared what turns him on about women.

"Let's see... I have a thing for pretty legs," he said."But most importantly, I like confident women. It's probably because I grew up with four strong women - my mother, grandmother and two sisters."

Theo James' girlfriend Ruth Kearney, also an actress herself, certainly has pretty legs. The "Jet Stream" actress, however, could not hold a candle to Shailene Woodley in the long-legged department, being at 5'4" tall to the "Divergent" actress' 5'8" frame.
