Sutton Foster has prepared for her new series "Younger" from the short-lived "Bunheads" where she played a former Las Vegas showgirl.

In an interview with Zap2it, Sutton Foster said that "Bunheads" was her first big TV series which involved a lot of dialogue.

"It taught me so much about how to exist in a TV world. It was like a very intense freshman year in college, and it completely helped me be prepared heading into 'Younger.' Even from the first day on this set, I felt more confident and more at ease," she said.

In "Bunheads," Sutton Foster played Michelle Simms who accepted a marriage proposal from Hubbell Flowers and they both settled in Paradise, a coastal California town.

This time around, Sutton Foster won't be singing and dancing in "Younger" and she's alright with that.

"It's not like that was a deal-breaker or anything. 'Bunheads' was a perfect transition show for me, because it used all my background in dancing and singing. With 'Younger,' I wanted to do something that was purely character- and story-driven, and frankly, I didn't think it would make sense to have Liza sing," she added.

The synopsis of Sutton Foster's "Younger" reads, "Recent divorcee Liza is finding it tough to start all over again at the age of 40. Rejected repeatedly for entry-level jobs for being too old, she reinvents herself as a 26-year-old and finds that her career and love life improve overnight."

Meanwhile, Sutton Foster revealed that she and husband Ted Griffin went on a much delayed honeymoon after finding time between their respective schedules.

The "Younger" actress said during an interview for "The View" on May 19, per Contact Music, that they suddenly found an opening and decided to grab at the chance to make an overseas trip.

Sutton Foster and Ted Griffin were married on October 14 after having been engaged for about a year. It was the second marriage to the "Younger" actress as she was previously married to Christian Borle.

"We're about to go on our honeymoon. We leave on Friday. We're going to Italy. It all happened very quickly because our schedules are so unpredictable, and so literally last week, we were like, 'We have a window. Let's do it!'" she said.
