Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson have been reported previously to have broken up. However, new updates claim that fans are saying that the breakup is not final yet.

This is after numerous fans took to online threads to start a rumor that points out to Gigi and Cody still keeping touch after their alleged breakup. Some hardcore fans say that there is still hope between the couple's love story, much like what happened with Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield.

As previously reported by People, the on-off couple have broken up. It was reportedly decided by both parties and Gigi and Cody still remain friends.

"Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career," a statement read from the 20-year-old model's camp. "They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future." 

"They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other's biggest supporters," the statement added.

Fans are hopeful that the rumors of their break up not being final are true. Taking into consideration the fact that both Hadid and Simpson are busy with their respective careers, they are hoping that the couple will be able to find time in between to patch things up and continue their public relationship.
