Lindsay Lohan is reportedly on track to complete her community service hours.

According to a report from the New York Daily News, the actress' mother, Dina Lohan, confirmed that Lindsay was going to be able to complete the hours of community service that the court required form her.

 "(She's) way on track," Dina Lohan said in a text message to the New York Daily News.

The 28-year-old actress had flown in to New York from London, where she is based now, to complete her community service hours. She has been serving the remaining 115 hours of the 125 court-mandated hours, at Duffield Children's Center in Fort Greene and a women's shelter in New York. This was the requirement for her probation in her 2012 DUI case.

The "Mean Girls" star was reportedly doing desk work, plus interacting with the children who attend the center

"There is a lot of teaching, a lot of doing projects throughout the day," an insider told Page Six. "Most likely she'll be providing one-to-one attention to a child who would benefit from it."

New York Daily News outlet also reported that one of the moms who attends the children's center encountered the actress during the latters' service hours.  "I ran into Lindsay on Wednesday," Rasha Ogunyemi said to the New York Daily News. "She's still there. She's going to finish on time. I have no doubt about that."

Ogunyemi's whose 5-year-old son Donovan Illery is a regular at Duffield.

"She was happy and excited to be around the children and see Donovan," Ogunyemi added. "We talked about him and how she was doing. I think she's very brave and resilient."

Lohan was reportedly two hours late during her first day back at the Brooklyn Daycare Center. She was spotted holding a copy of the Muslim holy book, the Qur'an.
