Singer Rain had been chosen to appear in court as a witness for the trial for a clothing entrepreneur who had made libel statements about Rain's clothing company.

Rain's agency had stated during an interview, "Because he is of military status, it will be hard for him to attend the trial."

Previously on February 5, he had presented his papers to not appear in court.

Back in 2010, clothing entrepreneur Lee and the clothing retailer that Rain is a shareholder of, became an issue because news that they had embezzled public funds was released through the news and was not indicted of any charges.
