Promo Art Shows Gal Gadot's 'Wonder Woman' Let Go Of Cape; Chris Pine To Star As Her Love Interest In Film?

New promo art for "Wonder Woman" has surfaced and it shows Gal Gadot in a familiar red, blue and gold costume, only this time without a cape. Meanwhile, Chris Pine is reported to be tapped to play the Diana Prince's romantic partner, Steve Trevor.

Umberto Gonzales posted on Instagram Heroic Hollywood, a promo art of "Fast & the Furious 7" star Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman holding a sword and shield.

He captioned the image, "RT! HOT #WONDERWOMAN promo art from #BatmanvSuperman #GalGadot."

Still the skeptics couldn't accept Gal Gadot as "Wonder Woman."

One follower wrote, "She's pretty but this is just a poster; she doesnt have boobs and not big enough to be wonder woman. Cobbie Smulders or Jaimie Alexander would've been a better choice."

Another replied, "Coble Smulders would be just as thin though. Jaimie Alexander would be perfect but alas, I hope at least Gal has great acting skills ;)"

Meanwhile, Variety reported that "Star Trek" star Chris Pine is rumored to play Steve Trevor.

"In the comics, Steve Trevor was an intelligence officer in the United States Army during World War II whose plane crashed on Paradise Island, the isolated homeland of the Amazons," it said.

"He was nursed back to health by the Amazon princess Diana, who fell in love with him and followed him when he returned to the outside world. There she became Wonder Woman (and also his co-worker, Diana Prince)."

It was earlier reported that "True Blood" actor Alexander Skarsgard and "Expendables 3" Liam Hemsworth reportedly auditioned for the role of Steve Trevor.

And there was another name in the mix who would have joined Gal Gadot in the "Wonder Woman" standalone film.

According to Daily Mail, Scott Eastwood, Clint Eastwood's son and star of "Longest Ride," was supposed to audition but opted for a role in "Suicide Squad" instead.
