Ellie Goulding is now happy with her new boyfriend Dougie Poynter that the "Love Me Like You Do" singer is now open to answering all the dating rumors her name was previously dragged into.

In an interview with Elle, where shegraced the cover of its June issue, the 28-year old singer revealed that she once dated One Direction member Niall Horan.

Ellie Goulding also denied that the "Thinking Out Loud" hit maker Ed Sheeran became her boyfriend, The Daily Mail said in a report.

The "Burn" hit maker clarified, "I did go on a few dates with Niall, but I was never in a relationship with Ed [Sheeran]."

The singer also added, "I have absolutely no idea where that came from and why it was turned into such a big thing."

Rumors have it that Ellie Goulding was the girl behind Ed Sheeran's latest hit "Don't," which tells a story of a woman who cheated on him with a friend.

This friend was rumored to be Niall Horan.

The "Leggo House" singer has previously admitted in a radio interview that he was dating Ellie Goulding before.

Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding was caught holding hands at the 2013 MTV VMAs.

"Love Me Like You Do" singer Ellie Goulding even added that she gets frustrated when musicians like her gets "defined by the men" they dated, US Magazine said in a report.

"It's something I've talked about with Taylor (Swift) a lot. She definitely feels that," the singer said.

Ellie Goulding added, "She gets bothered by it. It's like, you can be a great artist, you can write great songs, but the thing that everyone is going to talk about is some relationship they think you have had or not had. It's definitely something we both think happens to female artists over male artists."

Despite dealing with these dating rumors, Ellie Goulding is now happy with her boyfriend Dougie Poynter.

Ellie Goulding said, "My boyfriend is the coolest person in the world. Definitely punching above my weight."

The "Love Me Like You Do" singer and the solo artist have been dating for over a year now after the hit maker was rumored to be seeing Calvin Harris.
