Kate Gosselin explained her alleged engagement ring that fuelled rumors about how she is supposedly getting married. According to a report from Ok Magazine, the "Kate Plus Eight" lead also addressed rumors about dating millionaire Jeff Prescott.

The reality star was at the recently concluded TLC Block Party in Philadelphia. Kate Gosselin's alleged engagement ring was visible during the activity, but she clarified via social media that it was just a gift that she bought for herself.

"Fyi: I'm not engaged. Not even dating [anyone]," Kate Gosselin explained about her supposed engagement ring.

"Loved the ring so I put it on myself [for] my [birthday]."

"Had [to]have something [about] that [number] to make me smile," the single mom said, adding "#40" at the end of her post.

Aside from Kate Gosselin's clarification about her alleged engagement ring, the reality star's denial about dating Jeff Prescott shut down rumors that have been putting her in a bad light.

Another report from Radar Online revealed that Kate Gosselin's rumored new beau could be bad for her family since Jeff Prescott had a history of neglecting his own children.

Michelle Jones, the ex-wife of the controversial entrepreneur, previously accused him of taking their three kids for granted after they divorced in 2006.

Massachusetts court documents detailed how Jeff Prescott had "infrequent" visits with his children, namely 19-year-old Ashley, 14-year-old Brooke and 10-year-old Connor.

"He has had Connor two times overnight and has not taken the girls at all overnight," Michelle Jones claimed since their separation five months prior.

Jeff Prescott also allegedly went on frequent "business and pleasure" trips without informing his family.

"There have been times when he has not answered his cell phone for days," Michelle Jones said.

The rumored boyfriend of Kate Gosselin even went as far as filing a restraining order against his former spouse, claiming she was too jealous.
