Miranda Lambert Credits Marriage To Blake Shelton For New-Found Chill Attitude; Country Singer Upset With Keith Hill's Comments

Blake Shelton is one cool dude, which is probably the reason why his marriage to Miranda Lambert survived despite the divorce rumors surrounding the couple. Meanwhile, the country singer shared that she was upset by the sexist comments by radio consultant Keith Hill.

In an interview with Success magazine, Miranda Lambert credited her husband's calming influence on her.

"He's a very calm, even person. He takes things as they come, and I'm sort of all over the place," she said.

Miranda Lambert also addressed the divorce rumors with Blake Shelton.

"We make a conscious effort to spend time together. If you don't, you will lose sight of each other," Lambert says. "My tip would be, don't say, I'll get to it in a week, because no one knows what tomorrow will bring. And we both have times when we say, 'Put the phone down. There's nothing on Twitter that is more important than us right now.' You have to make that effort."

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton managed to set aside the divorce rumors but the country singer could not stay silent by the sexist comments by a radio personality who said, "My stations win by taking females out."

The then compared female country singers to tomatoes, while the male country singers are the lettuce to the salad.

Miranda Lambert then took to Twitter to write, "I am gonna do everything in my power to support and promote female singer/songwriters in country music. Always."

One fan noted, "you are such an amazing person to support women in music the way you do. You're all about girl powder, that's why we ️you!"

Another said, "this is why your my role model and inspiration your so fierce and I love it! cheers to u!"

But KSHB pointed out that despite the sexist undertones, Keith Hill's comments do have an argument in its favor because "this week, there are just two female recording artists on Billboard's top 25 country songs list."
