Michael Phelps, winner of a combined 22 medals at the Sydney, Beijing, and London Olympic games, is dating a model.

Only two months after breaking up with his ex-girlfriend, model/waitress Megan Rossee, Phelps is dating another girl with the same occupation.

Phelps's new model/waitress girlfriend is 22-year-old Sarah Herndon of Southern California.

According to the Daily Mail, Phelps and Herndon met before Christmas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. While out clubbing, Herndon and her three sisters were picked by club workers to sit at Michael Phelps's table.

Phelps asked for Herndon's number, and asked her to stay an extra day with him in Mexico after her family left. She agreed, after getting permission from her father.

They began dating soon after, and recently spent time together in the Bahamas snorkeling and fishing.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Herndon gushed about Phelps. "He's very cuddly and kissy, which is cute. He's charming and a gentleman...He's got like a confident side to him to that makes you want more. But he's very sweet at the same time."

Aside from dating models, Phelps has been using his retirement from Olympic swimming to work on his golf game and to support his favorite team, reigning Super Bowl champions: The Baltimore Ravens. Phelps invited Herndon to watch the Super Bowl with him, but she had a prior engagement so refused.

Herndon said that she and Phelps agreed to take things slowly. She commented, "We're both like newly single and we're still getting to know each other. It's just really casual right now. It was like too soon to talk about being exclusive, but we talked about how we had a great time and how we would see each other soon."

Phelps has not yet commented about his relationship with Herndon.
